Free Markets >>> Open Thread

July 26, 2007

Hi Folks:

The Writing Wall makes its debut on the blogosphere with an open thread on the best writings on the Free Market.

For the purpose of clarity, we define the “Free Market” as a market where the only interference or regulation is through natural forces. There is no intervention by policy-makers, politicians, monopolists, dictators and such-like.

So, without much further ado, here we go:

The first piece today is Frédéric Bastiat‘s “Candlemaker’s Petition“. (hat-tip towards India Uncut for this piece)

Keep your comments coming in folks. Hope to enhance this post through more brilliant work of this kind.

Welcome to the Writing Wall
